What You’ll Do:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to head our Global Solutions Engineering organization. As the VP of Global Solutions Engineering, you will be responsible for scaling and leading a world class team of Solutions Engineers and Channel Sales across multiple regions. This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and is a critical member of the Go-to-Market leadership team. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both strategic vision and the ability to execute in the field alongside your team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead, manage, and build a global team of Pre-sales Engineers & Channel Sales.
  • Drive the strategy and execution of the global Solutions Engineering function, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and customer needs.
  • Empower team to uncover, comprehend, and document complex business challenges, processes, and enterprise architecture
  • Foster team collaboration across regions to ensure a consistent and scalable customer engagement model.
  • Leverage deep expertise in supply chain and logistics technology to influence strategic deals, support complex customer solutions, and empower the team to deliver impactful technical guidance.
  • Partner closely with the CRO, sales leadership, product, and marketing to align pre-sales strategy with business goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, translating complex supply chain challenges into compelling solution narratives.
  • Drive partner sourced and partner influenced pipeline in collaboration with marketing and regional sales teams.
  • Develop scalable processes and KPIs for team performance, including win rates, deal velocity, demo effectiveness, and technical validation.

What You’ll Need:

  • 12+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering with at least 5 years managing a global pre-sales team in an enterprise SaaS environment
  • Deep understanding of the supply chain, logistics, or transportation management industry, with the ability to speak credibly with customers.
  • Demonstrated success in retaining, developing, motivating, and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Familiarity with system integration methods such as web services, SOAP APIs, and REST APIs.
  • Demonstrated success in partnering with enterprise sales to win complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Strong ability to balance strategic planning with direct field execution, comfortable rolling up sleeves to lead customer engagements.
  • Experience scaling pre-sales teams and developing global operating models.
  • Proven track record in building strong customer relationships, complemented by excellent written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Passion for self-learning and staying updated on industry trends, especially in AI and analytics.
  • A willingness to travel internationally is needed for the role.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
