About the Role
We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Head of Demand Generation to build and lead our demand engine.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll turn strong messaging into real pipeline. You’ll own the strategy and execution for multi-channel campaigns, partner closely with product marketing and sales, and help bring Root’s security innovation to the teams that need it most.

What You’ll Do
- Build and execute Root’s demand generation strategy from the ground up
- Plan and run campaigns across paid channels, email, SEO, webinars, content syndication and more
- Partner with sales on lead scoring, funnel optimization, and ABM programs
- Own our top-of-funnel metrics and report on campaign performance, pipeline contribution, and ROI
- Work closely with product marketing and creative to bring messaging to life
Optimize our marketing tech stack (HubSpot, Salesforce, ad platforms) - Help shape how Root goes to market in the U.S. cybersecurity space
What We’re Looking For
✔️6+ years in B2B demand generation (ideally in cybersecurity, DevTools, or infrastructure)
✔️ Track record of building and scaling high-performing demand engines
✔️ Experience with performance marketing, marketing automation, and analytics
✔️ Strong understanding of the buyer journey — from awareness to pipeline
✔️ Someone who thrives on data, momentum, and measurable results
✔️ Bonus: Experience in early-stage startups, working with product-led teams, or targeting security/dev personas
