As the Director of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical vision and ensuring the growth and success of our engineering teams. This position requires a strong focus on people management, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive engineering culture. Additionally, you will be responsible for guiding and implementing sound architectural decisions that align with our business goals and technology roadmap.
You Will:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the professional development and career growth of engineering team members through effective coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for the technical architecture of our products and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize engineering initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Manage engineering resources effectively, ensuring optimal team productivity and project delivery.
- Foster clear and transparent communication within the engineering team and across other departments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams, with a focus on people development.
- Strong technical background with experience in software development, system architecture, and design.
- Proficiency in a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and technologies relevant to our industry and product offerings.
- Demonstrated success in implementing and driving best practices within engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to align technical initiatives with overall business objectives.
