As the Director of Product at Hi Marley, you will be at the helm of our core claims SaaS business, leading a team that supports multiple engineering teams. This role is critical to driving platform growth and delivering products that enhance the experience for both adjusters and policyholders.
While insurance experience is valuable, what we care most about is your desire to improve the policyholder experience and your ability to oversee our core claims business. You'll excel if you're curious, driven, and able to balance strategy with hands-on execution. We thrive on teamwork and shared enthusiasm, which is why this role involves joining us in the office for two days each week.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Product Strategy: Own the product vision and strategy for Hi Marley’s core claims SaaS business. Define and drive the roadmap to ensure alignment with customer needs and business goals.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Work closely cross-functionally to ensure successful delivery and enablement of products to solve customer pain points.
- Customer Focus: Champion the voice of the customer, engaging with adjusters, policyholders and industry stakeholders to ensure our products solve real problems and create meaningful value.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption. Facilitate communication and alignment across teams to drive results.
- Execution Excellence: Balance strategic initiatives with detailed execution, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest quality.
- Innovation: Continuously explore new ideas and opportunities to enhance our product offerings. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 10+ years of product management experience
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and growing product teams. A track record of successfully managing products in a SaaS or Insurance environment.
- Strategic & Detail-Oriented: Ability to think strategically while also being detail-oriented. Comfortable moving between big-picture thinking and hands-on execution.
- Curiosity & Drive: A curious mindset with a passion for learning and exploring new ideas. Self-driven and motivated to take ownership of challenges and drive results.
- Communication : Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to Travel: Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time to engage directly with adjusters and understand their workflows firsthand.
