Position Overview:

Goldcast is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager (Contractor) for a full-time, U.S.-based contract engagement. The ideal contractor will own and drive go-to-market strategy and product launches across key features and enterprise segments. This is a contract role with the potential to convert to a permanent position based on performance and business need—though conversion is not guaranteed.

This role is designed for a self-directed marketing expert who can operate independently and collaborate with various stakeholders as needed. You will set your own schedule, determine the best way to meet project goals, and bring deep experience in enterprise SaaS product marketing to help us scale faster.

Preference for availability to collaborate during some Eastern or Pacific time zone hours. Location near Boston or San Francisco is helpful for occasional in-person meetings but not required.

Scope of Work:

Go-to-Market & Launch Strategy

  • Define and execute GTM strategies for new product and feature launches
  • Develop clear messaging and positioning tailored to our buyer personas
  • Deliver high-quality marketing assets: launch decks, briefs, demo flows, customer stories, etc.

Enterprise Segment Strategy

  • Create messaging frameworks for key verticals and buyer segments
  • Develop personas and buyer journeys across IT, compliance, and operations
  • Support Sales with targeted messaging, objection handling, and use-case content

Sales Enablement Content

  • Build a toolkit of scalable sales resources: talk tracks, battlecards, ROI tools, etc.
  • Provide input or content for RFPs, executive summaries, and custom deal support, as needed

Customer & Market Research

  • Conduct win/loss interviews and market research to refine messaging
  • Advise on competitive intelligence and translate insights into actionable recommendations

Who you are:

  • Independent, results-oriented marketing professional with 6+ years in B2B SaaS
  • Strong background in GTM strategy, messaging, launches, and enablement
  • Able to manage your own time, priorities, and delivery milestones
  • Collaborative but self-sufficient—you don’t need day-to-day direction
  • Comfortable operating on a contract basis with flexibility and ownership

  • Delivering and leading multiple high-quality launches aligned to company goals
  • Equipping Sales with strategic messaging and materials that move deals forward
  • Providing valuable customer and market insights that inform roadmap and campaigns
  • Contributing meaningfully and independently to business-critical initiatives

Goldcast is a remote-first company, with optional office space in Boston for occasional collaboration. This is a 1099 contractor engagement with competitive hourly or project-based compensation. The contractor will be responsible for their own taxes, tools, and work setup.
