Position Overview:

We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Finance to join our growing team. In this role, you will own key accounting processes and support financial operations across our U.S. and India entities. You’ll report directly to the Director of Finance and work cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Legal, and external auditors to ensure timely, accurate reporting and strong compliance practices.

This is a critical role that requires a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations for India and U.S. entities in compliance with local and U.S. GAAP standards.
• Lead monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations (banking, fixed assets, AR/AP, revenue recognition, balance sheet accounts).
• Support statutory audits, tax audits, and ongoing regulatory compliance requirements.
• Ensure accurate and timely GST filings and tax payments.
• Lead tax calculations, audit preparations, and assessments.
• Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes.
• Monitor cash flow, payment schedules, and invoicing accuracy.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for finance processes.
• Generate, analyze, and present management information system (MIS) reports and financial insights to leadership.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Partner cross-functionally to optimize financial operations and support business initiatives.

Who you are:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience.
• Big 4 public accounting experience is a plus.
• Prior experience in a B2B SaaS or multinational environment is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and Zoho Books preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to completion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Based in Bangalore (preferred).

Compensation:

Goldcast is a remote organization with access to an office in Boston for occasional gatherings. The CEO is located in the Boston area.
