Are you passionate about events and technology? We are looking for a dynamic and driven Event Services Specialist to join our team at Goldcast. As an Event Services Specialist, you will be an essential part of our event services team, supporting the planning and implementation of customer events on Goldcast. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, has strong organizational skills, and is excited about the world of virtual and hybrid events.
This role is hands-on, and the Event Services Specialist is expected to take initiative, understand business and technical objectives of an engagement, manage client expectations and manage tasks to completion.
You will ensure that every client derives the most value possible from their Goldcast event services engagement. This role will support clients throughout their large event planning and execution needs and provide best practice recommendations and platform configuration.
Assist the Event Services team in planning and organizing virtual and hybrid events on behalf ofour clients.
Help manage Goldcastpre-, during, and post-event logistics, such go live checks, day of content management support, dry runs and tech checks
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of events and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and providing event-related support.
Assist in gathering event requirements from clients and help tailor event solutions to meet their needs.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients throughout the event lifecycle.
Learn and become expert in using the Goldcast platform, understanding its features and functionalities to support clients effectively.
Provide technical guidance to clients during event setup and assist in troubleshooting technical challenges.
Help clients optimize their use of platform tools to enhance event experiences.
Assist in tracking and analyzing event-related data, such as attendee registration numbers and event success metrics.
Support the generation of post-event reports and feedback collection to improve future event services.
Work closely with the event services team to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional client experiences.
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to contribute to the growth and success of our platform.
Bachelor’s degree plus 1-5+ years of work experience in a client-facing professional services/consulting role; prior experience in event marketing and SaaS service delivery preferred
A strong passion for events, technology, and providing exceptional customer service.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage details effectively.
Strong communication (written, verbal, presentation) and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders professionally.
Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn and adapt to new software tools quickly.
A proactive and problem-solving attitude, able to handle challenges with a positive mindset.
Ability to effectively triage client issues and deescalate concerns and conflict.
